Leading by Serving Others

Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church is a multicultural and non-denominational body of Christian believers centered around missions, cell groups, and discipleship.

Pastor Ken Watson and his wife Diana are the parents of six adult children and grandparents of twelve.

Pastor Watson holds a B.A. Degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland and a Master’s of Divinity Degree at Columbia Biblical Seminary.

He formerly served as an Associate Pastor at Faith Community Church, Norfolk, VA, Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Hampton Roads, and the Director of Evangelism/Church Planting for Urban Discovery Ministries.

In cooperation with Urban Discovery Ministries, The Least of These Ministries and Westminster Presbyterian Church, Pastor Watson led the team which established Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church in 1997, where he has faithfully served as Pastor for more than 25 years.

He serves as a National Conference speaker for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is on the Board of Directors for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes National Football Ministry.

Pastor Watson is committed to the expositional preaching of God’s word and the proclamation of the gospel. He is motivated by the words of Colossians 1:27-28. “Him we preach warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”

LEAD PASTOR

Stafford Mitchell was born in Jamaica, W.I., where his spiritual journey began. At the age of 13, while attending Sunday school, he made the life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior. From that moment, his life was shaped by a growing passion for serving God and His people.

In Jamaica, Stafford devoted himself wholeheartedly to church ministry, serving faithfully as a camp counselor, youth president, and later as an elder at Assembly Hall Church. He also taught Sunday school and frequently shared God’s Word from the pulpit. His early years of service were marked by a deep commitment to nurturing young believers and encouraging others to walk faithfully with the Lord.

In December 1993, Stafford married his wife, Cheryl—a partnership that has been a source of strength, love, and shared faith for over 31 years. Together, they have one daughter, and their marriage has been a living testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness. Cheryl has served faithfully alongside her husband, providing support in ministry and opening their home to prayer, fellowship, and encouragement for others.

After migrating to the United States, Stafford and Cheryl continued their ministry journey and, in September 2022, found a spiritual home at Rock Hill Bible Fellowship. There, they have enjoyed rich fellowship and continued growth in the body of Christ. Stafford has served as a cell group leader, guiding believers in prayer, study, and community life, and now continues his calling as an elder—shepherding God’s people with humility, integrity, and love.

Above all, Stafford’s desire is to glorify God through his life and ministry, pointing others to the transforming power of the gospel and inspiring them to walk in faith, obedience, and hope

Bill Olson was raised in an evangelical Christian home in Rock Hill, SC, and began following Jesus Christ as his Savior at a very young age. During his college years, he was actively involved in Campus Crusade for Christ, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Baptist Student Union, developing a strong foundation for ministry and leadership.

Bill and his wife, Vickie, returned to Rock Hill in 2000 and became active members of Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church. Over the past 25 years, they have had the opportunity to serve in nearly every ministry the church offers, reflecting their deep commitment to discipleship and community. They are blessed with a daughter, Adara, who brings joy to everyone she meets.

In addition to serving as an ordained Elder, Bill works as an instructor at York Technical College and currently serves as the Elder of Missions, guiding and supporting the church’s outreach efforts both locally and abroad.

Christopher has been a member of Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church since 2022. He is a devoted husband and a proud father of two daughters-who, as he puts it, are all his bosses at home!

A passage that has profoundly shaped his life is Ephesians 1:7–9, which speaks to the richness of God’s grace and the depth of His divine plan. This scripture continues to guide him in both his personal life and his ministry.

Christopher is particularly passionate about serving others and supporting missionaries, embracing the many opportunities RHBF provides to extend God’s work locally and globally. His heart for ministry is characterized by encouragement, practical support, and a commitment to nurturing others in their faith journey.

To those who are new in their faith, he offers this encouragement: “True wisdom, knowledge, and understanding come from God. Stay in the Word, and He will reveal those things to you.”

Randy Gibbons has been blessed to be a part of RHBF Church for about four and a half years. He is happily married and grateful for the gift of two children and five wonderful grandchildren. Family is a central part of his life, and he thanks God for the joy they bring.

One of the verses that has guided Randy throughout his life is Colossians 3:23 — “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” This passage continually reminds him that everything, whether big or small, should be done with excellence and the right heart, because ultimately, it is service to the Lord.

Randy has always had a heart for helping others. Whether it’s offering a hand, sharing encouragement, or simply being present for someone in need, he finds great joy in serving wherever God provides the opportunity.

To those new in their faith, Randy encourages them to keep asking questions and to remain grounded in God’s Word. He believes growth comes from staying curious and open to learning while drawing strength and wisdom from Scripture.
