Stewards of the Gospel

In this message from 1 Thessalonians 2:1–7, Dr. Nate Brock reminds us that we are stewards of the Gospel and the gifts God has entrusted to us. Paul’s example to the Thessalonians challenges us to faithfully handle God’s truth with sincerity, humility, and love. Are we using our time, talents, and testimony to glorify God and advance His Kingdom? Discover what it means to steward the Gospel well and to live a life worthy of the trust God has placed in us.

Why Does It Hurt So Much

There can be no doubt that everyone experiences pain in life. God’s Word reminds us that pain and suffering entered into the world because of sin (Romans 5:12). We also know that God works through all things (Romans 8:28), including pain, for His purposes. In looking at 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, we learn that God comforts us in our pain, that we too might extend this comfort to others.

"Coming to RHBF was a turning point for our family. We are spending time in God’s Word, both as a family and individually, and we have made friendships that both challenge and encourage us. I’m so grateful that God led us here! Sitting under Pastor Ken’s teaching changed our children’s lives at a time when they desperately needed teaching and encouragement. I will always be thankful for this."
